Setsubun
Setsubun is a festival held on February 3th or 4th. Setsubun's day is the day before the beginning of spring. We ward off evil in the day.
We commonly throw roasted beans around their house while shouting "Devils out, happiness in!" on the evening of the day. That is because we think that devils come to our home at night. We use roasted beans because common beans may sprout. People use peanuts instead beans in some areas of Japan. Afterwards we eat as many beans as our age. We decorate head of sardine and leaves of holly tree. Evils don't like sardine's small and holly tree's leaves are thorny so they interrupt arrival of evils. We eat sardine, ehomaki and buck wheat.
I forgot the existence of Setsubun! I want to eat Ehomaki!
